What CLTBSWRLD is

CLTBSWRLD is the living index of significant collectibles sales. We gather results that auction houses and marketplaces have already published, verify them against the original source, and present them in one place with context like category, sale date, and price history.

Using the site is free. Right now you can browse everything without an account. Accounts are coming soon, and creating one will mean sharing your name and email. We'll hold those to the same standard as everything else here: never sold, never shared, deleted on request.

Not financial advice

We publish prices, returns, and comparisons because collectors deserve real numbers. None of it is investment advice. Collectibles markets move on taste, condition, provenance, and timing. Do your own research before you buy or sell anything, and treat every figure here as a record of what happened, not a promise of what will.

Accuracy and corrections

We work hard to keep the record right, and every entry links back to its source so you can check it yourself. Mistakes still happen. If you spot one, write to hi@collectibles.world and we'll fix it fast. We may correct, update, or remove entries at any time to keep the record accurate.

Your data

We collect as little as possible. Here is the full list:

• Your email, if you subscribe to the digest. We use it to send you one email a month. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
• Your name and email, if you create an account. Accounts are on the way. When they launch, we'll use these to run your account and nothing else.
• Basic, anonymous usage data. Standard analytics like page views and device type, used only to understand what's working and keep the site fast. No profiles, no ad tracking.

Content and sources

Sale results, object names, dates, and prices are facts about public auction events, drawn from public sources. Facts belong to no one. Each entry credits the house that sold the lot and links back to the original listing so you can verify it at the origin.

The writing, design, data structure, and everything else original to CLTBSWRLD belongs to us. Quote us with credit; don't scrape or republish the record wholesale.

Independence

CLTBSWRLD is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sotheby's, Christie's, Heritage Auctions, Goldin, Fanatics, or any other auction house or marketplace named on this site. House names appear only to state where a sale took place.

Sponsorship

Booking a placement is a request, not a purchase. We confirm your dates and send a proof within 24 hours, and nothing is charged until you approve it.

Once a placement is approved and live, the fee is non-refundable. If a placement you have paid for does not run — whatever the reason — you get the whole fee back.

Sponsorship buys space on the page and nothing else. It does not affect which sales we list, what we record about them, or anything we write. See Independence above.

Images and takedowns

Photographs of lots remain the property of their respective owners. We display them in reduced form, credited, and linked to their source, for identification and reporting.

If you hold rights to an image or text on this site and want it removed, email hi@collectibles.world with the link and proof of ownership. We review takedown requests promptly, usually within one business day, and remove content while we do. The sale record itself, being fact, stays.

Third-party links

The record links out to auction houses and marketplaces so you can verify at the origin. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we're not responsible for them.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters for digest subscribers, we'll say so in the email.
